Today was a great day. I reached an important milestone and my family was there to share it. I love you guys G, S, and J! Thank you to my team for the great poster! You guys rock! And to my ride or die team – J, E, R, and K. who created a great home-coming surprise, and lastly to my many friends whose encouraging words and prayers got me this far! Too many people to list here, but you know you who are. I am truly blessed! It’s not over, but today, all that matters is what’s behind me. Tomorrow, I’ll focus on what’s next. Thank you!
I mentioned in one of my other posts that the list of tips and ideas around chemo are just too numerous to add to the timeline so I have created a separate post just for chemotherapy and dealing with it, from my point of view. Click here for the post.
Posted one week later:
|As many of you know, I reached a major milestone last week |
In completing my last chemo session. The feeling (and relief) was overwhelming, and as you can imagine it was an emotional day. It remained an emotional week because of all of you,
your thoughtful comments, warm wishes, bible phrases,
tremendous amount of optimism and continued courage. God bless all of you –those who posted on my page, the pages of
my daughters and those of you who shared my update on your own personal pages. How blessed I am to have so many people who care! The fight isn’t over yet, but soon it will be and I can take this experience and use it to be a blessing to others as you have been to me.
